Excel Junior College Players
Over the past two years the Excel program has produced some of New York City's top players who are currently enrolled in Junior College across the country. Each of these girls is a New York City All City player who was recruited by top division 1 programs. If you are looking for Junior College players to round out your roster, your search is over. Allow me to introduce you to our players:
Kendra Romain 5'8 combo guard: Will play at Middle Georgia J.C after leaving Coffeyville. She was a Street and Smiths Honorable Mention All American out of high School. A Three time All City player who signed with St. Johns University before going to J.C. Kendra is in the same category as her AAU backcourt partner Niesha Butler.
Sharlenia Charles 6'3 Center: Played last year at Howard JC and has transferred to Tallahassee JC. This young lady gets better with each practice. Has a great work ethic. A rebounding machine that is good for a dozen rebounds on any level.
Monique Bell 6'0 Guard / Forward: Many people rated this lady the pre season top female player in the New York public school league. Signed with Trinity Valley CC. She is a two time Streets and Smith magazine Honorable Mention All American. A two time USA today newspaper top player in the state of New York. A multi skilled player who can play three positions.
Aja Brown 6'2 Forward: Will play this year at Middle Georgia JC. Led her high school team to the City Championship. A two time All City player who can face the basket or play in the post.
Tiffany Cooper 5'6 guard: One of the top point guards in this years high school class. Has the speed and ball handling skills to play on any level A demanding point guard who knows how to take control of her team and be a leader. A Three time New York All City player and USA Today newspaper 1999 Top player in New York State. Will attend Tallahassee C.C. this year.
